Professor Craig

Professor Michael Craig initially read Psychology at the University of Bristol. This sparked a passion for understanding human behaviour and mental processes. He went on to complete training in several psychotherapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This foundation in psychological theory and therapy continues to inform his clinical practice, supporting both his direct patient care and his ability to make well informed referrals to specialised colleagues.

Following his degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of London, he completed specialist training in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology and General Adult Psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital. He is currently the only practising physician in the UK to hold Fellowships of both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
